This policy explains what PassOnLegacy LLP does with the information you give us through this website. It is written to be readable rather than exhaustive; if you want the detail behind any part of it, write to us and we will answer.

What we collect

Only what you type into our contact form: your name, and whichever of email, phone, city, service interest and message you choose to provide. We do not run advertising trackers on this site and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry, to prepare for a consultation, and to keep a record of our correspondence with you. If you become a client, the information you give us during an engagement is held under our engagement terms and our professional duty of confidentiality.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become engagements are retained for up to 24 months and then deleted. Client records are retained for as long as required by the engagement and by applicable law.

Who else sees it

Our own team, and — only where an engagement requires it — the empanelled advocate or chartered accountant working on your matter, who are bound by the same confidentiality. We may also disclose information where we are legally compelled to.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to the email address on our contact page. We will act on the request within a reasonable period unless we are required to retain the record.

Cookies

The public website uses no analytics or advertising cookies. A single session cookie is used inside the private administration area to keep the editor signed in; it is not set for ordinary visitors.

This policy may be updated from time to time. Any change takes effect when it is published here.
