Probate & Estate Administration
Support for families after a death — probate, letters of administration, succession certificates, asset transmission and the paperwork nobody warned them about.
When probate is mandatory
In the ordinary original civil jurisdiction of the Bombay, Calcutta and Madras High Courts, probate is compulsory for Wills relating to immovable property there, for Hindus, Buddhists, Jains and Sikhs. Elsewhere it is often optional but frequently demanded by banks, registrars and buyers.
What we handle
The petition and court process through our empanelled advocates, the death-claim paperwork with every institution, indemnities and affidavits, and the follow-through until each asset is actually in the heir's name.
What you walk away with
- Probate petitions and letters of administration
- Succession certificates for movable assets
- Transmission of shares, mutual funds and deposits
- Property mutation and revenue record updates
- Coordination with the family CA on estate tax positions
